Rachele always knew that she would be a scientist, finding her vocation was never an issue.
As a child, she had a voracious interest in astronomy. Physics at school was her best discovery; all of it was so deeply fascinating. As expected she whizzed through her curriculum in the blink of an eye.
When asked by her math teacher to explain integral formulae, and working out an explanation, she remembers how she had to admit that she did not study it.
I wondered whether any of her teachers then, understood that Rachele would become Doctor F, and outweight them all.
